Donate essential supplies to support our hospital and patients
The Marine Mammal Care Center’s life-saving work is only possible thanks to the support of compassionate people like you. Financial contributions are always welcome and can be put to immediate use providing care for our patients. Learn more about the many different ways to give.
You can also help support daily hospital operations by providing in-kind donations of the supplies listed below. Links are provided as examples of the specific items we need, but you may purchase them from your preferred vendor. Alternatively, you can find many of these items available for purchase on our Amazon Wish List.
The Marine Mammal Care Center is open to accept in-kind donations from 10AM to 4PM at 3601 S. Gaffey St #8, San Pedro, CA.
On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, our volunteers and staff will greet you at the front entrance to receive your donation. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, we are closed for public visitation but still open to receive donations. Please ring the doorbell at the front entrance and someone will be out to assist in receiving your donation.
Please do not leave donations after 4PM. If you cannot arrive before 4PM, please email us at info@marinemammalcare.org to arrange a time for us to receive your donation.

Nutritional Support: These items are added to our patients’ daily diet as nutrient supplements.
- Sodium chloride (salt) tablets 1 gram (1,000 mg)
- Fish oil capsules, unflavored (1,000 mg)
Cleaning and Disinfecting: These items are used to clean patient pens and our patient food prep area as well as our medical equipment and spaces.
- Disinfecting bleach (germicidal unscented)
- REScue wipes (for veterinary use)
Patient Care: These items are used in providing direct medical care to patients.
- Manuka honey (applied to wounds to support healing)

Facility Support: These items are used regularly to support our facility operations.
