Seal Day festivities will feature outdoor animal viewing, live music, food trucks, games for kids and dozens of booths from a wide range of community organizations.

This year’s theme is Halloween in June, complete with professional costumed visitors, a Trunk-or-Treat experience with world famous Star Cars– vehicles from stage and screen, and a costume contest for those who come dressed for fun!

Education Volunteers Needed!

Education volunteers carry out the essential role of interacting with the public. Education or office background is a plus, but not required.
Training is done in-house by the education staff.
Education volunteers commit to a weekly four hour shift for at least one year.

We are doing a combined program with 3 other non-profit science organizations on April 20th: Los Angeles Marine Institute (Tall ships), Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, and Bird Rescue.  It’s a simple approach – we will be jointly publicizing that we are all open that day, will have information on each of our work, will have a San Pedro Marine Science Day map, and a late afternoon sail on one of the tall ships.

On Feb 27th, Vineyard Vines will be helping MMCC LA by donating a portion of sales to help our patients!
