We are in need of some extra help! We have a few openings for our seasonal volunteer opportunity. Seasonal volunteers come in for a weekly three hour shift to help with dishes, food preparation, and cleaning, just through the busy spring season.

A provocative presentation for your professional organization or association!
The Marine Mammal Care Center of Los Angeles is a hospital for sea lions that treats an average of 400 patients every year. That’s more than one a day!
This program has been created to alert your members on how these animals will impact their cities and county.

We Need Gift Shop Volunteers!
Love retail and have a few extra hours you’d like to spend helping your favorite sea lion hospital? The gift shop at Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles is busier than ever, now that Spring has arrived (along with lots and lots of patients)!
We are searching for a few gift shop volunteers for weekends and occasional weekdays. Our gift shop is open daily from 10 AM – 4 PM.
Duties include:Make sure the gift shop is organized, clean, and stocked with items before opening and after closing • Operate a cash register • Attend a mandatory volunteer training course to become familiar with Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles in order to respond to basic questions about the sea lion hospital • Experience in retail is a plus, but not required • Work a minimum of one four-hour shift per week
