This year we are having SEA Lab touch tanks, the Aquarium of the Pacific mobile aquarium, the Marine Animal Rescue truck, dozens of professional costumed people for photo ops, face painters, artists, Star Cars, 6 food trucks (including Coco’s Cupcakes, & India Jones), several live musicians (including Flaviyake, Dani W & Drew, and our headliner Kyle Smith!), awesome kids’ crafts, sculpture silent auctions, raffles, trick- or- treating, vendors, costume prizes, light saber battles, lectures, sea lion and seal viewing, and much more!

We Need Gift Shop Volunteers!
Love retail and have a few extra hours you’d like to spend helping your favorite sea lion hospital? The gift shop at Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles is busier than ever, now that Spring has arrived (along with lots and lots of patients)!
We are looking for a few gift shop volunteers for weekends or occasional weekdays. Gift shop open daily 10 AM – 4 PM.
Duties include:Organize, clean, and stock with items before opening and after closing • Operate a cash register • Attend mandatory volunteer training to become familiar with Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles in order to respond to basic questions about the sea lion hospital • Experience in retail is a plus, but not required • Volunteer for one four-hour shift per week
